Why write a blog?

Why are we writing a blog? Well, we thought it would be a great opportunity to tell you about the latest goings-on at Thomson, along with a bit of inside info on the people that work here, such as what we do all day and, of course, a few holiday recommendations.

You can use this blog to tell us what you think, in response to what we've been posting – whether it's the latest addition to our flying route, someone's favourite pastime, or where to go for a good tan in winter. This blog will also give you a good insight into what other people are talking about.

Everyday we get loads of emails, letters and phone calls. Some of these are dealt with by our dedicated customer helpline (if you need to, you can get in touch via our Contact Us page), but you might also find your questions answered via our blog. We really want to hear from you, and we hope you send in loads of great comments so we can get a good discussion going. Remember that our blog is a 'conversational' discussion board and is not for sending in complaints - if you want to do this, please get in touch with the right people by contacting our customer services team, and they will be happy to help.

We can't answer your comments personally, as there is far too much to read and respond to (if we could, we would have too much time on our hands and not enough work to do), but if you query something you might get a useful response from another reader.

So this space is your chance to catch up on the latest gossip from Thomson, air your views, and get a good discussion going. We do ask you to keep your comments clean - any comments you send in will be checked first (see Why are comments checked?), but hopefully we will publish as many comments as possible. We welcome your views and after all, without you, this blog simply won’t work.
