Bruges Festival Musica Antiqua
Until 5th August 2007, Bruges hosts its ever-popular Festival Musica Antiqua. Started in 1964, it's one of Europe's premier music events, and draws stacks of interest from keen classical music enthusiasts.
Every year sees a different theme, and this year is set to be the year of Orpheus and Paris in Musica Antiqua. Among the stunning venues hosting this year's festival, the Church of St-Jacob, the Church of St-Giles and the Provincial Court add yet more prestige to an already impressive programme.
Visit www.musica-antiqua.com for further details on the event, and check out our Bruges destination guide for more information on Belgium.
