Tour de France

The Tour de France, perhaps the most famous and gruelling cycle race in the world, kicks off this year in London - for the first time in history.

From historic London, the 22 teams of 9 riders then take on many hundreds of kilometres of English countryside, before heading on to Belgium, and then France, where the riders will face tough mountain stages in the Alps and the Pyrenees.

The event is free to watch, so don't miss out. Visit www.letour.fr for more information.

Comments

Does anyone have any route maps for this year tour. Am thinking of going over and following the routes but need to arrange accomodation nearby for each stage - else the wife may leave me.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Michael
