Semana Santa in Seville

From 1st - 8th April 2007, the annual Holy Week (Semana Santa) in Seville kicks off. Visitors flock to this ancient city to experience the commemoration. The pageant of The Passion attracts religious and non-religious spectators, who come to watch this overwhelming spectacle and join in with the celebrations. Processions leave the cathedral at noon every day.
